Getting started

Creating your account

Registration is invite-only. On the landing page, choose Register and fill in:

• Email — used to sign in and for security emails (verification, password reset). We never send marketing.
• Password — at least 8 characters.
• Invite code — the code you were given by whoever invited you. Without it, registration is refused.
• Consent checkbox — you must agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy; the links open the full text.

You're signed in immediately and land on Overview.

Verifying your email

A gold banner at the top asks you to verify your email — we've already sent a link (valid 24 hours). Click it and the banner disappears. Verification is not required to use the app, but do it: password reset depends on your email working. Use the Resend email button if the first one doesn't arrive (check spam for "Perfi").

Your first five minutes

Overview shows a Getting started checklist that tracks these steps and disappears once you're set up:

1. Add your first account (Accounts → Add account). One entry per card or bank account — e.g. "Citi Rewards Card". Pick the right type (credit card / savings / checking / brokerage) and enter the card's last 4 digits so statement uploads match automatically. Shortcut: you can skip this — the upload wizard can create accounts for you from what it finds in the statement.
2. Upload a statement (Statements → Upload statement). Pick your bank, choose up to 5 PDFs, review the preview, and import. See Uploading statements for the details.
3. Explore your dashboard. Spending now shows where the money went; Transactions has every line item, ready for tags and remarks.

Signing in and out

• Sign in from the landing page or /login. Too many wrong attempts temporarily locks the form ("Too many attempts. Try again in N minutes.") — this protects your account from guessing.
• Forgot your password? Use the link on the sign-in page. If your email has an account, you'll get a one-hour, single-use reset link. Setting a new password signs out every other device.
• Sign out from the top-right of any page.
